Developer
Job description
Primarily working as a C# & VB developer using Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio, SQL Server and Ironspeed. You will be developing and testing new and maintaining existing financial and other sector back office systems, websites, applications and utilities under the immediate direction of the Senior Developer. As a developer, you will be expected to integrate with the development team, but also be able to work on your own initiative following company coding standards where applicable.
Personal requirements
We are looking for developers with a good knowledge of the techniques and methodology of programming, with the ability to apply computer systems to business problems. He/she must be enthusiastic, reliable, resourceful, accurate and have the ability to think logically and creatively. Experienced developers preferred but graduates may also apply. Financial and accounting software experience would be an advantage.
Academic qualifications
The ideal candidate will be degree educated and Microsoft certified, but this is not essential.
Software Tester
We're seeking a candidate with an understanding of software testing methods, a pedantic eye for detail and who is highly motivated to produce user focussed software and websites for high profile clients. The projects range from web-based databases to iPhone & iPad applications.
Your software testing responsibilities will include:
- Analysing functional specifications to derive test scenarios
- Conducting and managing software test cycles
- Working within agreed timescales
- Managing the raising and resolution of defects
- Reviewing existing test strategies and proposing improvements
This will be a very challenging but rewarding opportunity if you want to be part of a development team that creates high quality, internationally used software products. You'll experience an agile development environment and framework, whilst having the opportunity to contribute to every aspect of the team’s growth and success. Personal requirements
In an ideal world, you’d already have some software development or testing experience. If not someone who’s very IT literate, used to writing reports and fiercely process-driven would be very useful. You’ve got to be enthusiastic, reliable, resourceful, accurate and have the ability to think logically. We favour MS technologies such as .Net, TFS and SQL Server. If you have experience with these it would be an advantage.
Academic qualifications
The ideal candidate will be degree educated but this is not essential.
Web Designer
We're seeking a web designer who can produce high quality design within tight deadlines. This position will give you exposure to both graphic & web design so your day-to-day activities will be varied and exciting. The projects range from web sites to iPhone & iPad applications.
Personal requirements
You will have:
- A creative mind and a passion for design
- Good Adobe Photoshop skills (CS4 preferred)
- Good working knowledge of HTML and CSS
It would also be highly desirable for you to have experience with:
- The design process from start to end
- Exceeding client expectations
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Flash

In an ideal world, you’d already have some graphic design experience. If not someone a recent graduate with bags of ideas and potential would be very useful. You’ve got to be enthusiastic, reliable, resourceful, and have a willingness to get stuck in.
